These rivets are pretty much 1/2 inch long and oh my god they're pointy. These stilettos are no joke and look AMAZING! I would suggest doing projects for a more mature audience. I advise you not to give it to anyone, but be careful with the bobby pins! They are metal and can pierce canvas or even leather if you're not careful! And so far I've only tested these spikes on 4-5 ounces of leather. I'm sure you can use 6-7 or 8-9 ounces of leather if you tighten the screw very hard. In addition, the rivets are perfect for bracelets or necklaces!
