The end of these new old parts is coming. Fits as you would expect from a genuine replacement. My peppy speedometer and shift points have been fixed and I can use my cruise control again! Anyone who says "grease it" doesn't understand why they go bad. The cable looks like a coiled metal cable. New, it's rigid, you put a spool in one end and get the same spool in the other. As the cable ages, the cable itself becomes tired/weak/soft, you can make a few turns before the other end moves. Spend your money and do it right.
