I ordered this extensive collection of art supplies for our 28 year old daughter who has just started drawing fantasy and anime! I'm a beginner but for a pro this set will be AMAZING)! It includes EVERYTHING you need to create beautiful colored pencil (or black and white if you prefer) drawings! The colors are so vibrant and blend seamlessly! I really like the colorful sticks, they are also incredibly bright! Charcoal and graphite pencils are perfect for dimensioning and shading, as well as creating full black and white images! The blending tools work beautifully and my fingers have been very happy with it too because I no longer have to try to smudge/smear my finger and end up getting fingerprints all over the place! Both erasers are REALLY good (I know you're probably thinking "It's just an eraser", but if you've ever tried to erase something with a BAD eraser, you know how important it is to have a GOOD eraser), and Don leave no trace! There are a few extra tools (like a ruler etc.) that I haven't used as I don't need them yet, but it's so nice to have them when I need them! There are 2 other really amazing things about this set that I absolutely have to mention in this review: 1. The case is PERFECT! It is easy, comfortable and everything stays in place! I've had instances where the second you open it, everything goes everywhere; but not in this case! It's really nice. A professional looking case that makes art on the go MUCH more convenient! And 2. The mannequin is something I've never seen in any other beginner's kit and I'm a bit shocked by it considering how incredibly useful it is! What is amazing is that you can easily assemble the small mannequin in any position! I can't tell you how much trouble I had trying to find the right example image when trying to draw a full-length body instead of just standing with my arms at my sides. But those troubles are over! I have my own personal model and don't have to deal with the embarrassment of using a live model who is often nude (to be honest it's just not the most comfortable situation, especially for those who aren't professional artists) or can move, and gives me that 3D perspective that working with the sample photo doesn't have! Overall I didn't find a single downside in this set and was VERY happy with everything that was included! I recommend this kit to literally anyone who wants a professional art kit that has everything you need and/or is looking for a kit that offers portability so you can take your passion with you wherever you go!
