3 stage knife sharpener works well. However, when I tried to sharpen the scissors, the edge was worse than when I started. I noticed a corner where the edge of the scissors has a radius, so the cutting edge is rounded. To avoid this I had to hold the edge of the scissors farther from the corner. This is difficult as the blade of the scissors tries to slide down the ramp into the corner. As an alternative method, I adjust the angle of the scissors so that the cutting edge does not touch the corner. However, this leaves a mark along the scissor blade level with the top edge of the sharpener and changes the angle of the scissors. To avoid this, the sharpener needs a small vertical undercut. Because of this shortcoming I give 3 points. Otherwise, it's a pretty decent sharpener.
