I love the style and construction of this hat. It was comfortable and didn't irritate the scalp. I had to put non-slip tape underneath as the fabric is very slippery on fine or fine hair and tends to slip when I move around a lot. I pulled down the excess fabric at the top of my head, pleated an extra pleat in the middle and it fitted seamlessly into the pre-made pleats. The designer thought very well of using flexible folds under the flowers. The elastic band has enough flexibility to accommodate many different floor inserts. Because it's unlined, it keeps your head cool during hot flashes, yet makes a great beanie or nightcap for those who find it difficult to stay warm.
