False thrift, just for a hobby.

I am a professional glass artist and run a production studio. I cut and sand tens of thousands of pieces a year. I bought this blade. Got a good price. The knife cuts well and smoothly at first. For about 10% of the reference blade (MK-215GL) I felt that the blade cut poorly compared to the feed early in its life. Yes, a steady but very slow feed rate was required. About 20% of the life of the MK-215GL (about 15-20 minutes when cutting 3/8" glass) this blade will deviate from the cut line. At about 25% of the life of the MK-215GL, this blade was roasted. Still cutting, but very slowly. If you just need to make an apron, then this blade can do it. Otherwise, it's false frugality. Price, Try MK-215GL MK Diamond 156651 MK-215GL 7 inch premium diamond blade for glass cutting
