I think I've been looking for this cheese cutter for over 20 years. We had something similar growing up and I always thought my mother bought it in Sweden when she was at exchange college. I have bought many cheese cutters over the years and have been disappointed. Everyone. Lonely. Time. I hate those where the wire is too loose, then it breaks, then it bends. Every time I've looked in the store for a cheese slicer I've always looked for one but never found it and just assumed it's no longer made or only made/sold in Europe. Then one day, while they happened to be watching a TV show, they mentioned Bosca and I saw my cheese slicer (hallelujah chorus). I bought it in minutes and that's all I remember and more. I recently told my wife that if there's one thing in the kitchen that brings me joy, it's a cheese slicer. And the French press. And eat. But mainly cheese.
