I used this to remove a pink gel ballpoint pen from a white leather sofa. I was a little concerned because the instructions said "Removes stains that have been there for several weeks PROVIDED NOTHING HAS BEEN APPLIED". It also states that alcohol sets the ink and should not be used to remove stains. Needless to say I have tried EVERYTHING in my house including rubbing alcohol to treat the stains. So I was worried. It is also said to be patient and persistent. So I did. I received it around 2pm on a Friday. Apply immediately and clean with a soft toothbrush. Then left for a few hours, came back to clean and reapply. I repeated this process several times. I ended up leaving it overnight, repeating the brushing and wiping with a wet rag - and it was all gone! So - be patient - leave overnight - repeat the process - it also works on a stain that has been treated by everyone before.
