Not stainless, not Japanese!
Each knife is marked 'China' which means it was made in China and not Japan. big stain on it. How could they miss the big stain when they packed it for shipping to me? Lack of maintenance and detailing for an expensive set of knives. Wouldn't buy again, I would recommend looking at other brands that take their knives seriously.
