Should be fine if you take your time with cats.

This works better than a toothbrush because you can be gentler on the kitten and control the pressure. I would recommend that you do this slowly when brushing your cat's teeth for the first time. My cat got scared and scratched me very hard trying to jump out of my hands. Don't be too ambitious and try to extract the back molars the first time, like I did. I would recommend that you slowly take it over your mouth, starting with a small dab of toothpaste on your front teeth. It's actually pretty scary to brush a cat's teeth because I don't think these gloves will protect you if the kittens are ugly and bite your hand.
