So far it works great and doesn't irritate!

I bought this to help with power outages. I live in a small rural town in an RV trailer and wanted to be able to use AC powered devices when shore power wasn't available, usually either when camping or during power outages. As I am still working on converting my trailer to solar and wind power this inverter was perfect for my needs. It arrived pretty quickly considering the pandemic caused all sorts of shipping issues. The packaging is well made and not too big. When I opened the box I was pleased with the size and weight of the inverter. Yes, the dimensions were known to me, but I am optically very adjusted. It came with a very small instruction manual, a warranty card, positive and negative leads to connect directly to the battery terminal and a remote switch. Installation was easy. Easily powers all types of items under 2000W. It claims an overload capacity of up to 4000 watts, but I haven't been able to prove it. He can hardly stand 2200 watts. I'm assuming it's a climb it can handle in a very short moment so I'm not really disappointed. I've learned not to take specifications seriously because they can easily be fooled by advertising propaganda. I was looking for a 2000W inverter and this one does the job perfectly. When the fans are running they aren't too loud and I followed the instructions for the grooves to cool and minimize dust. or chassis even if you connected the negative cable to battery ground, or it will not work. I accidentally connected this ground to the negative terminal of my battery and it didn't turn on. Tracing my connections and measuring the voltage solved this problem. Also keep the distance to the battery as short as possible. If you need more spacing, increase the wire, not the length mind you, but the cross-section. This inverter can draw a lot of current under load, and the wires being pushed to a high average will heat up and can burn out. This inverter looks beautiful, it looks well designed and constructed. It looks good and is easy to use. It powers all my devices that I use in my trailer and my electronics seem to be working fine. Haven't used the soft start feature yet, but it's nice to know it's there. Now only use and time will tell if it works properly, but so far so good. I will update regularly as my experience deepens.
