They are of good quality and very warm. However, half the time my son is playing in the snow his boot falls off. This happened at different snow depths and while tobogganing. Unfortunately, because the boots are designed to be easy for children to put on and take off on their own, they're also easy to take off if you don't want to. Snow also gets into the boots easily because the top is so wide, even in winter pants. Next time I'll buy boots with ties or velcro for a tighter fit around the legs/ankles.
