I was looking for a stainless steel water bottle that doesn't have a straw but is still smaller. That's great. It's just like our adult water bottles and my 5 year old feels like a big kid. The color is great. We put a sticker on her and my kid thinks she's the coolest. It's beautiful and durable, it's been dropped a few times and you don't even notice. The paint does not flake off even in rough outdoor use. Updated 03.12.20. I wash it in the dishwasher so some of the paint has peeled off. She puts it on her bike and often drops it, but it still works great. It doesn't look perfect the way it came out of the box, but it works the way it was, so no complaints. My kids usually destroy their bottles pretty quickly so that was nice. I even went back and got one in pink for my 8 year old. The same story. Absolutely worth buying! These things have been through A LOT (biking, hiking, trampoline, playground, walking - you'd think it would be safe, but for some reason my kids drop them multiple times on every trip) and they still work great.
