Review on Silicone Protective Case Cover Shell for Garmin Edge 810 and Garmin Edge 800 - Silicone Red by Kyle Hong

Doesn't keep port covers closed

This case is made of very good materials and fits perfectly. My caveat is that the hole in the bottom back of the case is exactly the same size as the ports on my Edge 810. In my old Edge 810 case (a Garmin branded case), this hole covered the exposed edge of the ports. Considering that the Edge 810's port covers have degraded over the years to the point where they constantly open and no longer stay closed on their own, the portion of the Garmin case's access hole that covers these port covers actually holds you . closed while the Edge 810 is on my bike. However, the hole in the Motong's body doesn't extend past the port covers, so doesn't keep them closed. This became an obstacle for me when I actually received the Motong case; So I sent it back and ordered a Garmin case instead. This saddens me as I think the materials and other builds/designs of the Motong case are otherwise better than the Garmin case. If your port covers stay closed on their own on the Garmin Edge 810/800, I can recommend the Motonga case. However, if they pop up on release, I can't.

Pros
