I bought this stool for our camper trailer because we always camp in remote, wooded areas and the steps can be very far off the ground when leveling the trailer. And also because I have four grandchildren aged 1 to 7 with small feet and my little Yorkie needs help getting on him. Firstly I love this stool and am glad I bought it. I like the actual size of the platform the most and it's as solid as it gets. I only see two problems in the craft. First, the rubber feet slip off too easily. One review mentioned that they bought various rubber feet from the hardware store, which I will do. Second, I caught my toe pretty hard the first time I spread my legs, so watch out. Overall I really like the stool and will be buying another one for my son's family as my 6 year old granddaughter fell off her cheap plastic stool last weekend. The investment is worth it.
