Review on Atwood 94026 XT Water Heater by Mack Douglas

This should be a NEW water heater. However, it was clearly owned by another owner and for some reason was either used or disassembled ie parts for your old water heater. The bracket's metal frame was clearly bent; Pipe thread lubricant was soft and carelessly applied to all electrical wires; Details are in the box; the box was damaged. Revain shouldn't have sold me that water heater. Glad I sent it back to Revain and UPS picked it up at my home and I got a full refund. Rather than risk buying another faulty water heater online, I decided to have the RV dealer install another brand new one in my home from Park Model. . However, after a day of running hot water on both the propane and electric sides, the propane side failed. A technician came and replaced the defective black control unit on the outside of the heater. Excellent, hot water now works on both gas and electricity --- 2 days already! Now on Friday there is no gas or electricity hot water. My voicemail call went unanswered and their customer service department is closed for the weekend. We'll have to see what happens on Monday 2/7/18 or July 4th which will cause further delays. What a nightmare it became - and the RV dealer charged me over $1400 for the job.
