Bought for our preschoolers to use yarn and plastic needles to make 'tapestry' while exploring castles. I used to buy a small batch at our hardware store to try before the actual project was planned, but it fell apart and had debris everywhere when I tried to cut it. This burlap is high quality - I would say suitable for crafts, tablecloths, napkins, cushions etc. It was delivered quickly, in less than 48 hours! The edges are well sewn, and although we cut it into small rectangles for the kids, it showed no debris or fraying. The kids will actually be using this tomorrow, but I tested it out with a "little friend" who had no problem with a plastic needle and yarn back and forth - I foresee some stunning tapestry creations this week!
