Review on Auboa Adult Motorcycle Helmets - Full Face DOT Approved Helmet with Removable Neck Scarf and 2 Visors (Matte Black, Size L) by Alexander Morgan

This ILM motorcycle helmet really surprised me and I have been riding a motorcycle for quite some time and have used different brands of helmets over the years, my last one was much more expensive and a well known brand but this one offers more options and features for almost half the price. This helmet has many advantages worth discussing and almost no disadvantages, but first a few words about the packaging and the look. The helmet comes in superb retail packaging with attractive graphics on the outside, branding and specific color and size markings on the inside, well insulated and protected. In the box there is a helmet, additionally protected by a fabric cover, a small instruction manual and an additional spare tinted visor. Positives: - Great set for the price - The helmet comes with a spare tinted visor and a removable bandana for the colder months. I love this complement, I think it is a wonderful complement and I rarely see this even with much more expensive brands, the scarf closes and unbuckles in seconds and offers perfect wind protection and warmth. - DOT certified. Safety is clearly the primary and most important reason for choosing the right helmet. DOT certification means the helmet is safe, tested and legal so it can be used almost anywhere. - Comfortable - I wear a size L in most helmets so ordered a different size L from this one and it fits as expected, maybe a little looser, I would have preferred a tighter feel and probably could have ordered a size M but again, it's a bit weaker than expected. The interior is upholstered in soft fabric, without the unnecessary and uncomfortable faux leather that cracks over time. - Chin strap with quick release buckle. Again, my current and much more expensive helmet doesn't have this feature, I really like it and it allows for very quick buckling and unbuckling. - Good ventilation openings - air intakes on the chin and on the top of the helmet that can be opened and closed quickly, rear exhaust vents on the top of the helmet. - Visor lifting points both to the left and to the side of it - easy to open with left or right hand without touching the visor. - Optional tinted visor - Dark tinted visor for use on sunny days and months, eliminating the need to wear sunglasses. - Inexpensive - This helmet costs $70 which is very reasonable, especially with all the extras. - Several different color options - I ordered white as the sun is very hot here in Georgia and can be seen from further away, but there are other options if you like other colors. - Wind noise level is good - Not the best protection from outside noise while riding, but on par with helmets twice the price. Cons: - No chin guard - I have come to appreciate this feature over the years and it reduces wind noise, would be nice to see this feature here. - The bandana is a bit cheap and the zipper attached to the helmet isn't the best, but it does the job. - As mentioned above - a little looser than I personally prefer. - It would also be nice to have more ventilation holes. - A little lever on the side would also be handy. Overall a great Auboa full face motorcycle helmet for the price. I think the ILM 313 is stylish, DOT certified and has a lot of useful options.
