I got this back from potty training my chihuahua and I have to say if you are looking for a cute little 'house' for your pet then this is it Perfect! I've had it for over a year now and I never write reviews but this was probably one of the best purchases I've ever made for my dog. Especially for such a price. When my dog was a pup, people recommended crate training, but I hated leaving him in that little crate. I bought this instead, and we kept it here during my work shifts when no one was home. We put pots on half of it and we put a bed on the other half. For the past year my chihuahua has been potty trained and we no longer keep him there during the day. Anyway, my chihuahua LOVES it and will hang around there all the time and use it as his "den". We leave the door zipped open and he treats it like his own little house. My Chihuahua weighs about 9 pounds and has more than enough room to move around comfortably. (I snapped a crappy picture very quickly so you can see his bed inside for comparison). As for the cleaning, as I said, I've had it for a year and there are no visible signs of wear. My Chihuahua had a lot of accidents when they first started out and there wasn't anything that a little urine spray couldn't fix. The material is very easy to care for and does not absorb very well. If you're considering this for a larger dog, I wouldn't recommend keeping him caged. The handle itself is very light and while excellent quality, a large dog can definitely grab it and run away.
