Cut and style are very cute. My daughter prefers skirts and now that it's getting colder I thought this would be a great option to keep her legs warm. Your school uniform allows for a variety of styles as long as the colors match expectations. This skirt is not dark blue as the color suggests; it is lighter and more subdued. I think I'll send them there anyway and I'm sure they won't tell me about it. She may notice a difference after a few wears and refuse to wear it. I hope not.
