These Swedish kitchen towels should replace paper towels. I've used many different replacement paper towels and they don't look like it. These Swedish kitchen towels are very thick and plush. All you have to do is rinse them out and start over. When you start the dishwasher, you can put it on the top shelf to wash. You can also wash them in the washing machine or put them in the microwave. They last way longer than any paper towel substitutes I've used in the past. Like I said, these kitchen towels are thick. They are very soft and absorb liquid well. Only thing is they are NOT big. They are smaller than I expected. They are not as big as half a paper towel where you choose the size. I would estimate that they are about 5 inches by 8 inches. They are a good size but not as big as I expected. That's why I deducted a star. But that's the only thing I found wrong with them. I recommend them!
