I'm trying to get rid of a lot of toxic chemicals in my life. I used to buy Batiste and down a bottle in a week. It seemed to work, but my hair felt dirty when I scratched my head. I open the bottle slightly and slowly draw lines on the scalp through different parts of the hair. Then I use an old makeup brush and rub it thoroughly into my hair. I then use a comb and run it through to pull the powder up the hair shaft. I read a review that said it should be done and I have to agree that it works. My hair has a lot of volume and doesn't look greasy at all. It took me a few times to grasp the technique but it's worth it. I have very thin blond hair. My hair gets greasy so quickly, I'm amazed at how well this works and I'm very impressed. The bottle is tiny, but you'll be surprised how little you have to use. It will take you several months. It has a very light lavender scent and is not overpowering at all. If you want a more natural approach, be sure to give it a try!
