Tight but good for a long torso

Update 2: Just got a second one, this time in orange. I just wanted a different color as I ride my bike a lot more these days. The landing is the same as the first. Orange is very bright, at first I wanted to laugh. But I think you want to be seen on the street and this shirt will help you with that lol. I really like these shirts for the price. The fit is still a bit off, the arms are tight and the stomach is quite wide, but it seems to work well. This shirt is quite long in the upper body. I usually wear L in regular clothing and XL in various cycling items. I received this in size XL. The material is quite soft and stretchy. It's a bit of an odd cut, I'm 5ft 10" and 200lbs, fairly athletic build with muscular but not large arms. The fit around the shoulders is good, but it's tight against the skin, which is a good thing. It does take a little getting used to around the forearms though and I haven't had any problems, but if you have big hands and therefore forearms it can be a bit much. Being of an athletic build my shoulders are not narrow and yet the A little bit extra space on upper shoulder in this shirt and it pops a bit when riding but not too bad and you don't notice it. Just pointing out the odd cut, a little tight in some places and a little loose in others. There's plenty of room around the belly which I'm sadly a little over 40 but if you've got a decent beer belly you're not going to look good lol. short in front, like typical cycling jerseys. In terms of warmth, it doesn't keep you warm enough, you have to layer it. I rode it today in about 65 degrees and it was a bit cold, I don't think I would be comfortable below 60 degrees without layers. Unfortunately if you need to wear multiple layers for colder times you will need something very thick and close to the skin as it is already quite thick. I'm not sure how this will work, but I'll have to try it when the temperatures get a little cooler. All in all, it's not a bad shirt, but I'll probably try something different next time. The tight shirt is actually pretty good and the length is really good too. The more I used it, the more I liked it, and I had no problem getting another one in a different color. It's really very decent.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors
