Review on Hobart H112216 R01 1 Pound Plastic Electrode by Juan Simpson

A few years ago I was welding heavy steel up to 1/2 inch thick, in some cases upping the amperage of my welder 200+ edges where I just couldn't put a flashlight. I didn't have a really good shop anymore, I needed a very small welding machine for small jobs that I could connect to 220 V house voltage. Well a little welder, the 70-90 amp is ideal for these rods. I was able to fix a lawn mower deck, cracked fenders on my trailer, and a small 1/16" elbow with a good weld. They burn fairly quickly, 30-40 seconds per stick. I put 5 because they were the only general purpose sticks I could find that worked well and ignited at the welder's first or second touch.
