I looked at two different monitors and finally settled on this LG Ultra Gear monitor. I have to say that I am very impressed with this monitor after a very old monitor (with both VGA and DVI). This is a bargain, I bought it on sale for $346.99. The brightness is higher than I expected and the menu is very simple. Just to let everyone know I used this with my Xbox Series S and it was fully compatible with AMD Freesync Premium and 1440p 120fps. I don't know if it's an Xbox or a monitor, but when you have HDR enabled your framerate drops to 60 fps, which is fine with me since I only use HDR on movies. The only drawback is the quality control. Backlight cracking and dead and/or stuck pixels are fairly common and many people have written about this monitor showing dead pixels or severe backlight bleeding right out of the box. I had no dead pixels and very VERY little backlighting at the top. I don't know if I was lucky or if they just fixed some manufacturing errors. I also missed the included HDMI cable. Overall very happy with this monitor and would recommend it to anyone in the price range.
