At this price point you probably won't find a more packable rain jacket than this. With bold colors and designs, lightweight design, a stowable hood and roomy pockets, this jacket far outperforms its weight class. The jacket packs easily into a softball-sized bag, so you can take it almost anywhere without being bulky. Once you've unpacked it, you can tighten your wrists however you like, and with the zip and hood closed, you'll stay dry and warm. Which brings me to one of the few issues with the jacket. Due to the waterproof materials, the jacket does not breathe very well. A pair of underarm vents would greatly improve the comfort of this jacket. However, as long as you're not trying to stay dry in the tropics, it really isn't enough to break the deal. No, this jacket won't keep you dry during a hurricane, but it's great for light to moderate rain and costs less than $40.
