Review on 🔌 SinLoon HDMI Solderless Adapter - Gold Plated Extension Cable Connector Signals Terminal Breakout Board by Eric Cooper

I bought this to do exactly what it was designed for, which is to fix a broken end on an HDMI cable. I would say that everything worked as expected. My only complaint was that the plastic cover that needs to snap around the fully connected end is too small to fit on the cable bundle and is made out of fairly cheap plastic. I ended up having to use some zip ties on mine to pull it tight and then tape the whole thing around with tape. It works but doesn't look very professional. It comes with little to no instructions. So if you don't know how to break HDMI cable, you won't have a good time. I was very happy that I had an HDMI extension cable and barrel connector as well as an HDMI tester so I could loop through the cable completely and test it by inserting each lead. I don't know if this is an issue with that end of the adapter or something else, but there have been times where lines that seemed to connect perfectly were read as either disconnected or with a problem.
