If you only need 300 ml (about 10 ounces per cup on average) of coffee, this gadget is perfect! This is the ONLY REAL PERCOLATOR I could find anywhere! The second "Coffee" setting gives EXACTLY a 10 minute bonus of cold water! This bug also brews tea and has multiple settings for this, as well as a 'warm' function and a 'boil' water function with a single electronic button! So far I've only had ONE problem and it's a very heavy and HARD power cord. That being said, if you're looking for a portable coffee maker (even with a carrying case) this is for you! By the way, I've found that you can make 14 ounces if you just need to boil water. just no problem and i'm 90% sure you can cook 16 oz too (haven't tried it yet) the lid fits the pot snugly but it has two small slots, one for "ventilation" and a little more to pour out so you can leave the coffee strainer standing while pouring! I used tea bags (fabric from Amazon) to put my coffee grounds in and just tossed them into the coffee maker with 300L of water and hit the 2nd coffee timer with fantastic results! When your coffee is ready, simply throw away the used tea bag and rinse out the kettle - done! Unbeatable for a quick cup of coffee! (I fill some tea bags while watching the video).
