I bought extra wide for my little one with wide feet. I used to buy regular widths and they seem to be wide like regular shoes. So I tried extra wide and they allow my little one a bit more room when needed. Velcro straps are thick and easy to attach. Because they're wider, it's also easier for them to put them on. New Balance did a great job with this shoe and I love the colors!
