Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Winsor & Newton Collection Drawing Ink Set: Black, White, Metallic - A Versatile Must-Have for Artists by Gelin Battle

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Bright, versatile, beautiful presentation, a pleasure to mix and match and a good price.

Failed to load media. I bought the Henry Collection Set and love the vibrancy of the colors. I bought them for pen and ink drawings and modern calligraphy. I was hoping to use them for line art sooner than watercolor, but as you can see in the video they all bleed (except the black one). The brown doesn't run too much, so it can work if you're careful not to brush too hard on it. What I really liked is that you can blend them to create new colors, you can also blend them on application (like green/blue/yellow in the video sheet) and they can dry like smooth blends (although they dry quickly ). When diluted with water, you can create soft pastels that retain their luminosity. The way they look reminds me of Copic markers so I'll use them as a cheaper alternative. Because of the many uses I can give them (paint with them like watercolors or for calligraphy or even instead of alcohol ink markers) I would definitely recommend them. Also because of the pigmentation of this ink. I noticed that some reviews mentioned that the bottle was leaking. In my case it was shipped to New York and then to Finland and my ink arrived in perfect condition. I'm really happy with them!

Pros
