Revain's size recommendation for me (5ft 8in, 138lbs, 36/26/37) was average but I'm glad I went small. The little one was also too big in the upper body, so the view is a bit angular. I have long arms so the sleeves fit, but barely - if your thumbs are in the holes then the fabric pulls when tilted or moved. I think the extra size will solve the torso issue but will exacerbate the sleeve issue, so I'll keep the size small and wear a few layers underneath. This jacket is suitable for changeable weather because the layering allows it.
