Excellent ergonomics make this tool easy to hold in little hands and always under control. The materials appear to be of high quality, the power cord is of minimal length (ie extension cord). The side handle and mounting screw are secure and will not kink, twist or feel unsafe. It grinds quickly, efficiently and keeps an eye on the workpiece. This particular model has enough power for most applications, especially at home. The downside is that most stores don't have the 6 inch sharpening attachment this tool requires. So plan ahead by purchasing your most-used consumables or ordering by mail. order, which of course means slow shipping. Finally, this tool was recently purchased, so I can't comment on the issue or uptime history.
