Bought because of excellent reviews. When I opened the package, I already knew there would be problems. The box consists of 5 parts - basically the IKEA tray. I've had cats for 15 years now, and as someone who regularly changes litter and cleans their boxes, the fact that there are multiple seams and there isn't an easy way to throw the box away without the box falling apart is just ridiculous . The bottom pan is flat - there are no high walls, so you have to break the whole box between it and the numerous seams between the walls to wipe the urine off properly. Initially it took about 25 minutes to build - all the instructions are in pictures so it was difficult for me as I was a person who handled the sections with a delicate balance, not breaking the plastic but fitting the elements together. Bottom line, it's not functional. Purchase another replacement box.
