The cover fits perfectly. The rubber is a bit thicker so the keys can be a bit harder to press, at least the small ones as they are surrounded by rubber that rises up around the keys. It doesn't really matter, just something you should be aware of. I bought this because the remote itself is quite slippery and tends to slide around on my bedside table like I have it in my bedroom. This removed cover solved that problem. The only minor complaint I have is that the "red" cover looks more orange. It doesn't look like the picture. I don't know if my party was bad or if they all are. It's still clearly visible in the dimly lit bedroom, so it's not a big deal. I still keep it.
