Good quality blade at a good price
I have bought several Mercer knives and they are very sharp, last a very long time and generally do what a knife is supposed to do. You can pay a lot more money and you won't get a better knife. The molded handle may not look as pretty as more expensive knives, but I haven't had any issues with the handle and it feels good in my hand.
