Update 02/12/2018 Very disappointed, paint is still peeling, one mug has almost no paint and shows signs of rust. I have slivers of red paint in my kitchen and large chunks in my dishwasher. The new photos of the mugs are almost completely devoid of paint and rust around the rim of one of the mugs. Also a photo of a large piece of paint in my dishwasher. I drank from it and the color peeled off and stuck to my lip! If you fold it the paint will come off in the stack of cups and it was a bad buy I wouldn't recommend buying it. Update September 18, 2017 Paint is peeling off most mugs. When stacked, the paint sticks to the cup, which is why you read about shit floating in your drinks. I still use them today because they were expensive and I have muscle and joint issues and find it difficult to lift heavy glass jars. I will be going back to regular glassware soon. Update 07/24/2017 Many cups are unusable because too much paint comes off in the dishwasher. I still use them, I became addicted to them as I am medically disabled and with my disability I find it hard and difficult to hold on to a glass tumbler. The aluminum cups are great, it would have been better if they were just unpainted for starters. Update May 28, 2017 I have ordered more than once and am returning a set as rusty. Now after a few weeks of use the paint is peeling off. The problem is that now the paint just peels off but sticks to other things in the dishwasher. When the cups are stacked together the paint inside the cup will dissolve and you will have red paint spilling over your drink. I will attach some photos that I would not buy as most of them are out of order. The seal of the packaging was broken. when I received it and realized it might have been returned by someone else. I noticed some stains on the bottom of the cups. I washed them thinking it might come out but it didn't. 4 cups have a defect inside at the bottom. 2 have a big "scratch" which is rusty, 2 have a different mark and it doesn't look like rust but some sort of defect in the stainless steel. Since I will be putting food inside, I don't expect any flaws. I'll be at my computer later today when I can print and request a refund. Very disappointed that I have to make an effort to get her back as I am disabled. The last time this was a Revain deal I got a six pack and they've held up well so far. As I said the package wasn't sealed and I think someone else sent them back and somehow they were resent.
