Review on Lisle 14000 Parts Cleaning Brush by Chad Jeffries

Good cleaning brush with stiff bristles

I've been car detailing for a few years. I've spent hours searching for the best cleaning tool for various jobs on the car. One of them was a brush for cleaning car wheels. After checking out Revain and other websites, I settled on the Lisle 14000 parts brush. This tool is essential for cleaning car wheels. It's small enough to get into those hard-to-reach places, but big enough to do some serious surface cleaning. It is also particularly useful when cleaning around jam nuts. When I received this in the mail I was very happy with its size. It feels good in the hand and makes a very robust impression. The bristles are a bit stiffer than I expected but I hope that's not a problem. When I first cleaned the wheels, the bristles were still stiff (and still are after multiple uses). While some people may prefer it, I don't. It would be nice if they were a little softer. It takes some effort to line them up when cleaning the rim surface, but nothing extraordinary. It fit well in the wheel wells and did a good job of removing accumulated dust. Again, I wish the bristles weren't as stiff as they are. The only positive thing I noticed was that a few bristles fell out. They are very densely packed, which makes them impossible to crumble. In general I am satisfied with the brush and I do not regret the purchase. But I'll look for one that doesn't have stiff bristles like this one. All in all, this definitely deserves a spot on the shelf. I hope this review was helpful!
