Review on Rugged Ridge 16715.24 Red Wheel Lug Nut Set - 20 Pieces, 1/2-20 Size by Jay Ngo

I should have taken other people's comments about the poor durability more seriously. Install these red nuts on a 01 foot Jeep WJ. Fit and thread are fine. The main problem is with the red coating, I tightened them once and most of them chipped off in the process. The coating is holding up on the tips (so far), but the sides of the nuts are almost certainly getting worse. Was hoping that applying 2 coats of glossy Rustoleum clear coat would provide some protection but still no luck. As beautiful as they look, I will not buy them again!
