I was in love with this product when it first came out. I knew it wasn't perfect and inexpensive, so I wasn't expecting quality craftsmanship. I've had it for 2 months now and there are serious flaws. Firstly, the stain is not as dark as in the photo. This is normal and no reason for a bad rating. However, the drawers are not finished inside and have no mechanism to open them smoothly. So when you pull on it, there's a lot of friction where the body and drawers meet. This friction makes the drawers difficult to open and the sawdust flies wherever there is wood-to-wood contact (pictured). This friction is too much torque for the small screws (pictured) holding the drawer handles and yesterday one of the handles came loose when I tried to open it. Ultimately I like the idea behind this item and I think with some tweaking it could be a great little addition to my workspace. But for a few dollars more, I was able to buy one that worked properly and didn't need any repairs, trimming, or sliding mechanisms. I'm a bit disappointed because I really wanted to love this box.
