Works as advertised. Strangely, my two boards weren't separated by a V-groove. If yours arrives this way, be careful not to bump yourself or unnecessarily bend the circuit boards when separating them. To test, I applied 24VAC to the device, set the output to 12VDC, and charged 2A and 1A each for about 15 minutes. No significant output ripple under any load. The heat was roughly evenly distributed across the rectifier (BR1), inductor (L1), and diode D1. In Test 2A they reached about 160F (71C) and in 1A they stayed at 115F (46C). The attached picture shows test 1A. I like it, but I think I'd be cautious if I had to consistently pull through 12+ watts unless it's cooled in some way.
