THE SMARTEST COACH - I love it!

Now I swim alone 95% of the time and smart glasses make a big difference. When I'm not wearing them, and especially when I don't have a pace watch, it's extremely difficult for me to be aware of how fast (or SLOW) I can move. I've tried almost every goggle in the industry. including other various smart glasses. FINIS data glasses have many advantages. Firstly, I love the fit, frame and style of the glasses. They look like goggles I would normally wear, but the technology doesn't make them too big for my face or less hydrodynamic in the water. There are also different colors and you can change your chip (ciye). This is very useful because I swim at different times of the day and in different conditions. When it's sunny I like tinted glasses, when it's early morning or dark I like clear glasses, so blue or smoky glasses are best. I also swim in open water so I can choose the best option based on the day, clarity and lighting. At the same time, the possibility of replacing the electronic part of the glasses makes them financially viable. Instead of buying a whole new pair of glasses for $230, you end up only spending $30-$35 on a brand new pair of glasses to put a part in. Now when your glasses are worn out or you just need a new one or a different color, you don't have to throw away a huge amount of money. I sometimes get overwhelmed by the excess electronics in my life, but these goggles are simple and easy to set up. high and to the point. I also like that I can link them to the different apps I already have. One of these is SwimDotCom, which downloads directly to my USMS account, which I've used to track footage for over a decade. So it helps that I can still have everything in one place. I've seen that they also have Strava and a few other great apps that I'm sure some of you use. The goggles themselves keep me so focused, motivated and on pace while swimming. With each lap I can look up and see my split time, how many laps I've run and I'm pushing myself a lot harder than if I'm swimming without it. The pace clock works but you can't see lap after lap unless it's digital and visible so it doesn't do the same job even if I have it. It's literally like having a coach stand by and instantly show you your time for each lap so you know how to swim the rest of the set. I also love the fact that it's your choice to see it or not. I don't know how they did it, but you only see it when you WANT to, when you look up and walk away. If not, don't be constantly bugged by numbers in your vision. As for me, I liked to do my spin and push off and then check what my split was like. When I was doing exercises and swimming easy when I didn't have to worry about my time, I just kept swimming normally and the stats didn't stress me because I was face to face. I really love these glasses and can only recommend them. If you're wondering what to get someone who loves water sports and swimming laps, I highly recommend them!
