Very feminine due to the ruffles, well cut and not transparent, so no overalls underneath. This is ideal for the hot summer months as the material is non-sticky. There is an elastic band at the back for extra fit around the waist, which I like. The zippers are on the side and hidden. I didn't have to increase the size. I just followed the size chart and ordered the XS and it fits perfectly. I weigh 110 pounds, waist 25 inches, hips 36 inches for reference. Also, I'm 5'5" and the skirt is mid-calf, just as the description says. The color is very accurate. Overall a good purchase.
