Review on KEF Q350 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair Home Audio by Ada Chlebicka ᠌

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

Together with the PlayStation 4 and the Marantz NR1510 amplifier, I use it for playing games and watching movies. Even though I'm not an audiophile and don't fully comprehend concepts like airiness and other loudness, the sound quality is decent. The difference is like a chasm when viewed in comparison to the previous Wharfedale 10.1 and Wharfedale 8.2 versions. I tried to connect Adam a3x monitors, which are in a similar price bracket (I use them as multimedia ones on my computer), but there is no purpose in comparing them to them because they are completely different. The middle and the top of the monitors are of higher quality than the bottoms, which are completely absent. They are adept at producing a pleasing sound even when the volume is turned down, with the top, bottom, and middle all functioning properly. in contrast to the diminutive Adam a3x. There, the lower middle almost disappears when the volume is turned down, and on an average night, this is not convenient in front of the neighbors. The guitar work done by Gustavo Santaolalla in The Last of Us is just beautiful to listen to, and the heartbreaking compositions in Death Stranding brought tears to my eyes. Yet, there is an insufficient amount of bass in Horizon Zero Dawn. You want to hear both 40 and 30 Hz, but they are not there; you will need a subwoofer to do so. There is a very low voice acting, and it is very bassy. At this time, I am awaiting the delivery of the KEF Kube10b. Because the speakers are positioned approximately 20 centimeters away from the wall, I needed to use a full socket to connect the phase inverter; otherwise, the bass would be somewhat distracting.

Pros & cons

  • Outstanding visual appeal; the absence of a "wood impression" finish is a feature that particularly appeals to me. It appears as though some kind of matte polymer layer has been applied to the speakers, giving them an expensive appearance. Appropriate price, at a price of about 500 pounds, we sell them for 30k, which is quite compassionate
  • Pretty bulky. So I would go with the younger edition of the Q150 because they are not quite as large; nevertheless, a subwoofer is still required for use with movies and toys.
