Review on High-Quality Raybestos Element3 EHT™ Rear Brake Pad Set for Lexus ES300h/ES350/HS250h and Toyota Avalon/Camry/Matrix/Rav4 Model Years (EHT1212H) by Darren Cole

Installed these on my 2007 Acura TL. They came with brake hardware, which is a must considering the pads will stick if the hardware is dirty or rusty. I personally like the feel of semi-metal brake pads compared to ceramic pads, but I don't like the black brake dust that lands on my discs. Lately I've been using Akebono brake pads which are great but don't have the pedal feel that I like with quality semi-metal pads. Semi-metallic pads conduct heat away from the rotor better in hot conditions, perform better than ceramic pads in cold weather, and bite faster and with less effort than ceramic pads. However, they can be louder and cause black brake dust. These Raybestos Hybrid Element 3 pads are not a hybrid of ceramic and semi-metal, they are made from a new combination of elements that have the stopping power of semi-metal pads with purity. and smooth noiselessness of ceramics. I personally don't like the performance of traditional ceramic pads when finishing a brake pad, they don't "bite" when you lightly press the pedal. These pads are quiet and smooth, but I don't have to pedal as hard as I do with ceramic pads to feel comfortable. What I love most about these pads is the pedal feel, they are amazing, again they grab/bite the rotor much sooner and with less pedal effort than traditional ceramic pads, giving you a much wider braking range for more spirited riding or braking in corners. Overall, these pads have the amazing responsiveness of semi-metallic pads with no noise or brake dust. Amazing product, absolutely silent!
