versatile and stays in place won't slip
I like that one side is completely smooth (handy for chopping veggies and sliding them with a knife or scraping them into a saucepan) and the other side has grate one on the edge to catch the juice (good for slicing meat). I also like that each end is rubber covered and slightly raised to hook onto the post and prevent slipping. I've already used mine twice in the two days since I bought it and washed it in the dishwasher. great board
