The Oggi corkscrew is the easiest way to open a wine bottle I've ever used, but it's not entirely hassle-free. First the good: It works as advertised, allowing you to open a bottle and pop the cork out in about 5 seconds. While the stand is a little light, it's still a great feature as it gives you a useful place to store your corkscrew and foil cutter. The Bad: The action isn't as smooth as it could be - the gears seem to be engaging. sometimes a little, which may indicate quality control issues during production. (Parts not machined/cast exactly to specification). Second, there is no space in the database to store an additional worm that comes with the kit. Not that big of a problem, but it would be easy to fix with no real cost. I haven't had to replace the worm yet, so I can't comment on how easy it is to do so. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and can only recommend it.
