I like this watch a little more than I expected and am wearing it more and more. Most of my watch collection consists of Seikos and Alpinas in the $500-$1,500 price range, and I already have more than enough watches (at least that's what my wife tells me), so I was a bit surprised to find that I that attracts them . This minimalist watch is under $100 but it's on my wrist now and I'm really glad I decided to add it to my collection. Is this the perfect watch? Absolutely not. First, the movement is pretty unrefined. As another reviewer points out, the hour and minute hands aren't quite aligned, so when the hour hand lines up exactly with the hour marker, the minute hand can still lag the hour strike by a few minutes. It doesn't matter if the watch can tell the time accurately, but it can plague perfectionists. Another minor issue is that the mesh strap is long enough to fit wrists up to nearly 9.5 inches, and since the average male wrist size is 7.25 inches (mine is dead at 7 inches), that means for the average user that there will be more. over 2 inch bracelet folds in half on the bottom of the wrist. It doesn't matter as the strap is very thin but looks a bit messy. However, despite those two minor flaws, this is a great watch at this price point. It's painfully simple, stripped down and elegant, with absolutely no additional embellishments other than the NBONAL logo on the front. Honestly I could do without a logo but I understand why a manufacturer would want to put their brand on the watch. knock it back to five because the price is very reasonable. I really like the look of the black dial and brown leather strap version, but I wholeheartedly recommend the silver dial and stainless steel mesh strap. It really is a bargain at this price.
