good! I love this product, don't know why it gets such bad reviews. I bought 3 as gifts. Didn't pay $50 as I had a coupon so $40 is worth the money in my opinion. Yes, a bucket and ice work just as well with water, but then you'll exhaust most of your ice supply and have to rotate the bottle by hand. I would only use 7 minutes for the Chardonnay otherwise I would use 15 minutes but if you are that worried about the next 8 minutes. You're a bigger drunk than me. Wine is a lot colder than putting 20 people in a freezer or ice bath and you still have ice for cocktails. The only disadvantage. French champagne bottles don't fit (actually they do, but you can't get them). Too bad this item is no longer available and I tried to buy it (again!) as a gift.
