I bought this item thinking it would be cool to have a neon backdrop for my daughter's room. It seems to work fine at first, but after a day of use the AC connector design seems to be a hazard. The device gets so hot because too much power is being fed to the device that it heats up and shuts down. This is bad design and cheap construction. Not worth the money paid for it. We no longer use it for fear that it could cause a fire hazard with our electrical system Our home. I have little confidence in its safe use. While it looks fine when it's on (like neon), it's not safe to use.
