I bought these to replace 18 year old thermal pads on my GPU and Gamecube CPU. In truth, the stock pads were still in good shape, but I cleaned the inside of the console anyway, so I figured changing the pads wouldn't hurt. I chose pads with a thickness of 2 mm. The bearing pads were about 1.5 mm. But to be on the safe side, I chose 2mm. They worked great. The pads are easy to cut, sticky enough to stay in place but can be adjusted if needed. These are not self-adhesive pads, but they do have a slight stickiness due to their composition, making them perfect if you want to customize something. So far the Gamecube works like a cucumber. Highly recommended.
